THE FUTURE OF REMOTE VIEWING

Abstract:

Having spent over thirty years as a practicing psychic, with the last seventeen years as President of the Australian Psychics Association, Simon has had a unique opportunity to gauge the development of the general public's perception of what it is to be psychic.

So what of the future of remote viewing? What applications can be developed that can benefit humanity other than knowing when one might become a millionaire, or speak to a cousin many times removed? Is remote viewing the way of the future or is it destined to be forever a niche area of interest?

Simon became involved in remote viewing research in an area to do with predicting future stock market prices. Called Predictive Remote Viewing (PRV), a three-month intensive research program showed that above average results could be gained using remote viewing. Further research and promotion of this potentially valuable application could cause a shift in the attitude of business people worldwide.

Further, promoting the value for psychics of studying remote viewing techniques could lead to RV becoming the tool of choice of thousands of psychics around the world. Simon makes a case for designing an IRVA educational course drawing from all the available sources currently available.

Psychics are always looking for ways to improve their public image, conscious as they are that there are frauds and shysters still out there taking people's money. By encouraging garden-variety psychics to become more involved with RV, Simon feels that an acceleration in the adoption of remote viewing will ultimately benefit all parties concerned, as everything from research to the wider use of RV applications will happen much sooner than otherwise might be the case.

Simon Turnbull has been a professional psychic for over thirty years, the last seventeen years as President of the Australian Psychics Association. Prior to becoming a full-time psychic, Simon was a professional singer/songwriter and recording artist. He toured Australia and New Zealand playing the part of an apostle in "Jesus Christ Superstar", in a version of the stage-production regarded as one of the best in the world. His great-grandfather was General Lev Ivanov, who was in charge of Czar Nicholas II's Guards Regiment at the Catherine Palace. It was the General who was responsible for admitting famed Russian psychic Rasputin into the palace on his many visits to see the Tsarina. It was the first-hand accounts about Rasputin, told to him by his grandmother, which inspired him to become a psychic. Simon's mother continued the family tradition as a Captain with British Intelligence, working in the mapping department in India during the Second World War. Co-founder of the Australian Psychics Association in 1983, Simon was also co-founder of the Psychic Hotline in 1993. He has been tasking in excess of 100 psychics over the last eleven years. Simon is also a remote viewing researcher with PRV Associates, founded with Charles Scarf. Together they completed a three-month research project in 2003 looking at ways to predict the stock market on a daily basis using a form of RV they call Predictive Remote Viewing (PRV).
